Protect Your Stored Items with StoreProtect Enhanced Liability
 

To ensure your belongings are protected during storage, insurance coverage is essential.
 

Understanding Your Options:

• Standard Liability (Licence Agreement): Our standard agreement limits our liability for loss or damage to your goods to negligence only, with a maximum payout of £50. You are required to obtain your own insurance for the full replacement value of your items.
   

• StoreProtect Enhanced Liability: As an alternative to your own insurance, you can choose StoreProtect. This option provides increased liability for loss or damage during storage, up to your declared Maximum Replacement Value, as detailed in the StoreProtect Addendum.

  • Choosing StoreProtect gives you the option, but not the requirement, to obtain your own additional insurance.

  • If you decline StoreProtect, you must provide proof of adequate insurance covering all standard risks (as listed in Licence Condition 19.2.2).
     

Key Considerations:

• Accurate Valuation: It's crucial to declare the full, new replacement value of your stored items.

• Updating Your Valuation: You must notify us in writing if the value of your stored items exceeds your declared amount. Failure to do so may result in a proportional reduction in any claim payout (see the StoreProtect Addendum for details).
